Information of the rules for entering the Republic of Uzbekistan from foreign countries during the coronavirus pandemic
In connection with the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, the Special Republican Commission has decided to introduce the following restrictions:
1. From December 3, 2021 it has been suspended the international flights (entry into the territory of the republic by inbound, outbound and transit flights) with the following countries: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eswatini, Tanzania and Hong Kong.
2. From December 3, 2021 the citizens of the states specified in paragraph 1 and stateless persons permanently residing in these states, as well as citizens of third countries who have been in these states within the last 14 days, are not allowed on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
3. From December 3, 2021 when entering Uzbekistan, persons arriving in the country by air or by rail are required to provide a certificate of passing a PCR test for coronavirus (within the last 72 hours) with a negative result.
In the absence of a certificate of a negative PCR result for coronavirus infection, it is necessary to pass an express test at airports, train stations and border checkpoints.
4. Travelers entering the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements specified in paragraph 3, from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, are required to be in mandatory home quarantine or hotel quarantine at their own expense for ten days.
In addition, in Uzbekistan it has been established a mandatory procedure for wearing medical masks, maintaining social distance and disinfection in the places.
