In connection with the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, the Special Republican Commission has decided to introduce the following restrictions:
From January 15, 2022 when entering Uzbekistan, persons arriving in the country by air or by rail are required to provide a certificate of passing a PCR test for coronavirus (within the last 48 hours) with a negative result.
Furthermore, it is necessary to pass an express test at airports, train stations and border checkpoints.
