Meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Uzbekistan Dr. Thilo Klinner
November 23, 2021 Ambassador Nabijon Kasimov held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Uzbekistan Dr. Thilo Klinner, who is currently in Berlin.
The current issues in Uzbek-German relations have been discussed during the conversation, and the agenda and schedule of forthcoming joint events have been elaborated. In particular, the sides reached agreement on close interaction in preparing the scheduled regular round of political consultations, meetings of intergovernmental commissions, mutual visits as well as activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Republic of Germany on March 6, 2022. Special attention is paid to the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation as well as practical implementation of the Green Central Asia Initiative.
Ambassador Dr. Klinner again on behalf of the Federal Government of Germany expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for assistance in organizing evacuation of German citizens, Afghans and citizens of other countries from Afghanistan.
