The prospects of bilateral cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed
On March 16, 2021, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany Mr. Nabijon Kasimov met with the Director for Cultural Relations Policy and Deputy Head of the Directorate-General for Culture and Communication at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, co-chairman of the Uzbek-German Mixed Commission for Cultural Cooperation Mrs. Irmgard Maria Fellner.
The state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed, incl. issues of organizing joint events and projects, in particular, exhibition of museum collections of Uzbekistan in the James Simon Gallery in Berlin.
Organizational issues of holding the next meeting of the Mixed Commission for Cultural Cooperation were considered, agreements were reached on cooperation in order to expand the infrastructure for studying the German language in Uzbekistan.
