Meeting with the Director of the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Michael Klor-Berchtold
On March 11, 2021 the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany Mr. Nabijon Kasimov conducted a meeting with the Director of the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Michael Klor-Berchtold.
During the conversation, topical issues of Uzbek-German relations were discussed. Particular attention was attached on the further development of trade, economic, investment cooperation and interaction in the fields of energy and the environment, including the implementation of the German Initiative "Green Central Asia" with an emphasis on solving problems associated with the consequences of the Aral Sea disaster.
There were also exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the "Uzbekistan-EU" format and within the UN and other international organizations.
