Germany to host International Kurash Tournament
On May 7-9, an International Kurash Tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be organized in Frankfurt am Main.
According to Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, the prize fund is 10 thousand euros. The strongest athletes from 20 countries have already submitted preliminary applications to the organizing committee to participate in the competition. Men will fight for victory in the weight category +81 kg, women – +63 kg.
Workshops and roundtable discussions with the participation of kurash coaches will be held for three days as part of the prestigious tournament, organized in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, the European Kurash Confederation, Kurash Federations of Uzbekistan and Germany, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany. Exhibitions will be organized.
