Recently, there have been many cases when citizens of Afghanistan, or immigrants from Afghanistan, apply for a trip to Uzbekistan.
In the section on visa issues, there is detailed information, however, due to the large number of applications, Embassy informs you the following.
Citizens of Afghanistan or Afghans who were born in Afghanistan but now have documents from European countries for traveling abroad and living in Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Switzerland must obtain a visa to travel to Uzbekistan.
- if the purpose of the trip is tourism, in this case you need to contact travel companies in the territory of Uzbekistan. The travel company will prepare all the necessary documents for a visa and submit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Further, after receiving a response from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the travel company informs the tourist and sends him a telex number. After receiving the telex number, the tourist can contact the Embassy by phone or email.
- if the purpose of the trip is a guest trip, in this case you need to contact your friends who invite you to Uzbekistan. They apply to the Department of migration and citizenship of the Ministry of the internal affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to receive an invitation for your name. An invitation is submitted for a visa to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Further, after receiving a response from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the telex number is sent to you. After receiving the telex number, you can contact the Embassy by phone or email.
- if the purpose of the trip is business, in this case you need to contact your partners who invite you to Uzbekistan. The inviting company applies for a visa to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Further, after receiving a response from the Foreign Ministry, the telex number is sent to the citizen of Afghanistan. After receiving the telex number, you can contact the Embassy by phone or email.
After receiving a positive decision from the Consul of the Embassy, the applicant must prepare the following documents to obtain a visa to Uzbekistan.
1. Completed and printed visa application form in two copies (to be filled out on the website: evisa.mfa.uz);
2. Photograph of 3.5 x 4.5 cm (2 pcs.), Glued to the application forms;
3. Copy of the passport (only the title page of the passport with personal data and photograph);
4. Copy of the bank transfer confirming the payment of the consular fee (according to the established tariff);
5. The original passport (the passport must be in good condition (not torn or damaged) and have at least one blank page for affixing a visa, it must have at least three months validity from the moment of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan;
6. Electronic queue for admission at the embassy by the Link: e-navbat.mfa.uz/texnolog/usluga?id=42.
Payment for all consular activities in the embassy is made only by transfer (Überweisungsbeleg).
