A system for issuing electronic entry visas to foreign nationals has been introduced and a list of countries from 77 countries that are able to obtain electronic entry visas to Uzbekistan has been approved (the list is attached).
- An electronic entry visa to enter and stay in Uzbekistan is issued to a foreign citizen through the system www.e-visa.gov.uz;
- Electronic visa is issued to foreign citizen for the period of stay on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan up to 30 days with single entry (from 15 March 2019 - double and multiple entry);
- issued E-visa is valid for 90 days from the moment of its issuance. If the period of validity of the visa at the time of entry of a foreign citizen into the territory of Uzbekistan is less than 30 days, the period of stay of the foreign citizen on the territory of Uzbekistan must not exceed the period of validity of the electronic visa;
- in case of discrepancy between the information in the issued electronic visa and the travel document certifying the identity of the foreign citizen, the electronic visa shall be considered invalid.
- To obtain the electronic visa it is necessary to apply through the portal www.e-visa.gov.uz not less than three working days before the planned date of arrival in Uzbekistan. The electronic visa is issued within two working days, not counting the day of application;
- the issued electronic visa is sent to the applicant's e-mail;
- the amount of consular fee for processing and issuing a single entry electronic visa is EUR 20. Payment for the electronic visa can be made online through international payment systems. In case of refusal to issue an electronic visa, the visa fee is not refundable;
- the electronic visa is not glued to the passport. A foreign citizen must present an electronic visa in printed form when passing through a passport control point across the border.
It should be noted that the electronic entry visa is issued only to citizens of foreign countries, and is not issued to stateless persons permanently residing in these countries.
Also, starting from March 15, 2019 the following multiples of e-entry visa with the corresponding consular fees with the validity period of 30 days have been introduced.
- double entry electronic visa - 35 euros;
- multiple-entry electronic visa - 50 euros;
- group electronic visa - EUR 20 per person.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS,
RESIDING IN UZBEKISTAN
Upon arrival at the point of temporary stay, foreign nationals (including nationals of countries with a visa-free regime and a simplified procedure for obtaining electronic visas) must temporarily register with the internal affairs agencies or register with accommodation facilities and medical institutions.
The national passport is submitted for temporary registration upon arrival at the destination point within three days, excluding holidays and weekends.
On 15 July 2018, the remote registration of foreign nationals and stateless persons through the Emehmon system (emehmon.uz) was launched in Uzbekistan.
Foreign tourists can move freely on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the exception of areas and facilities closed to foreign citizens.
Violation of the rules of stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan will entail liability under Uzbek legislation.

IMPORTANT!
Citizens of Uzbekistan and their children who have a foreign passport and who have not withdrawn or lost their Uzbek citizenship on the basis of a presidential decree may not visit Uzbekistan on the basis of a foreign passport. They must visit Uzbekistan on the basis of a valid foreign and biometric passport or on the basis of a Certificate of Return to Uzbekistan issued by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin or the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main, if the passport has expired.
