The procedure for entry into Uzbekistan without a visa.
In accordance with Uzbek legislation, foreign citizens and stateless persons may enter Uzbekistan and transit through its territory with or without an entry visa if a visa-free regime is established.

Citizens of these countries (except India) who hold diplomatic passports and are accredited as employees of diplomatic missions or consular offices of their countries located on the territory of Uzbekistan, as well as their family members, have the right to enter and stay without visas for the entire period of work.
3. Uzbekistan has unilaterally introduced a visa-free regime for 30 days with respect to the other 75 countries not listed in paragraph 1 (the list is attached).

To enter the country, a person must have a valid national passport or other replacement document used during trips to foreign countries, the validity of which must be at least 6 months of visa issuance.
The 30-day and 60-day visa-free regime starts from the moment of crossing the state border of Uzbekistan and as soon as it expires, the foreign citizen must leave the country.
If it is necessary to stay in Uzbekistan for more than 30 or 60 days, the foreign citizen must submit the necessary documents to the competent authorities of Uzbekistan to be issued one of the categories of entry visas of Uzbekistan.

From 1 January 2020, a visa-free regime is established for citizens of foreign countries who received the resident status of the United Arab Emirates for a period of 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan (foreign citizens must submit the original UAE resident visa, which is valid for at least 90 days at the time of entry into Uzbekistan).

The visa-free regime does not apply to stateless persons, including persons under 16 years of age, permanently residing in the territories of the said countries.
VISA-FREE REGIME FOR TRANSIT PASSENGERS.
At the international airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan there is a 5-day visa-free transit regime for citizens of 54 countries (the list is enclosed) who want to see the sights of Uzbekistan. Passengers should be provided with an air ticket to a third country, and the air carrier should inform the border authorities of Uzbekistan about the passengers who are entitled to a visa-free transit visa.
ATTENTION: Practice shows that with the exception of Uzbek Airways, not all airlines inform the border service of Uzbekistan in advance about the presence on board transit passengers without a visa. In these cases passengers are deported or have to buy a ticket on another route. In order to avoid such troubles to foreign citizens who have the right to transit visa-free regime, it is strongly recommended to clarify in advance with the air carrier the availability of the service of timely informing the border service of Uzbekistan about transit passengers without a visa. In the absence of such service, foreign citizens are recommended to obtain an electronic visa.
