A Symbol of Common Aspirations of the SCO Countries towards Development and Prosperity
The SCO Summit is still being held in the city of Samarkand. As previously reported, all the leaders of the SCO Member States have arrived in Uzbekistan today.
At the end of the bilateral meetings and talks, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan planted trees at the International Tourist Center «Great Silk Road».
The tradition of planting trees in the culture of the peoples of the East is associated with good intentions and noble deeds. In this regard, the trees planted by the leaders of our friendly countries today symbolize friendship, good neighborliness and common aspirations of the SCO Member States towards development and prosperity.
