Qualified personnel for the business sphere


The proper selection of personnel and an effective system of training personnel and upgrading their qualifications are the main factors determining business success. This was said at a round-table conversation that took place in the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Uzbekistan on modern requirements of the system of training personnel for the business sphere and possibilities in the use of HR management.

It was said that many big Uzbek enterprises had been reorganized into joint-stock companies. The number of companies in which methods of corporate management have been introduced is growing. They play an important role in strengthening this country’s economy and creating new workplaces.

A decree dated 24 April 2015 of Uzbekistan’s First President “On measures to introduce modern methods of corporate management in joint-stock companies” serves to further improve this work.

At the round-table, there was discussion about results of interaction between vocational colleges and small business and private entrepreneurship entities in the country. Specifically, in accordance with enterprises’ requirements, new areas of study are opening at vocational colleges. For their part, enterprises are creating all the necessary conditions for students’ effective practice sessions. Educational classes and centres are being opened especially for them at enterprises, and experienced specialists conduct training there.

The experience of big local companies which had worked out their own system of personnel training was examined.

Specialists in the sphere of marketing and HR management gave answers to questions that were of interest to participants in the event.
